Sitting in the dentist's waiting room I picked up a book of poetry that sparkled on the table and Browsing through it I have been involved in the poem entitled: Intensive Care ". I felt inside "that place" recognition just like when I came out from the operation of liver transplantation. "That place "where the pain goes and where I found support for the new life.
Who wrote the poem had certainly suffered!
Then I found Ms. Chantal, in "that place", as had happened to my wife, had assisted her husband in overcoming a serious moment of his life. Chantal has found that in "that place" a reason to express his deepest feeling the poetry that emerges from that world, I can only thank you from the heart.

Camici verdi da indossare
per poter entrare …
pesante si fa il passo,
il cuore stretto nel petto,
mani sudate, gambe tremanti
per incontrare il volto della morte.
Stanze anonime asettiche,
odori forti di farmaci,
mille strumenti ed un trillo
continuo intermittente
rimbomba deciso.
Quadranti elettronici a monitorare,
tecnologia avanzata e precisa
sconfitta da troppe morti.
Respiri affannosi, volti immobili,
occhi sgranati o coma profondo.
Luce irreale, senza sole, solo i vetri
dividono gli altrui destini.
Intorno danzano figure di morte
Impietosa la vetrina, dove occhi
