Le statistiche dicono che, per ciascuno di noi, le probabilità di aver bisogno di un trapianto sono circa quattro volte maggiori di quelle di essere donatore.
Una scelta onesta.
Gli organi possono essere prelevati solo da cadaveri di persone decedute in rianimazione, se in vita hanno espresso tale volontà, o se la famiglia non si oppone al prelievo. Gli organi sono assegnati secondo liste di attesa trasparenti. Le Religioni più diffuse sono favorevoli alla donazione e al trapianto.
Non esistono limiti di età per esprimere la propria volontà.

La fabbrica di Cagliari grazie ad un'organizzazione molto semplice e ad un impianto pilota d’avanguradia ha assunto anche il ruolo di fabbrica specializzata nei test di sviluppo di buona parte dei gelati prodotti con il marchio Algida.

La produzione è destinata in buona parte al mercato nazionale ed europeo e solo per il 4% è destinata al mercato regionale.

Con l’introduzione delle metodologie di gestione TPM nel corso dell’anno2000, la fabbrica di Cagliari si è posta a pieno titolo come fabbrica di punta del gruppo Unilever.
