A meeting between unions and Unilever has been promoted by the Regional Labour Office in order to avert the layoffs and, therefore, the dismissal of employees, that could leave the company since Jan. 1. The event is scheduled for December 29 at 11.30 am in the office of the assessor in February via XXVIII. "It is true that the region has not made their voices heard," he said in a statement. "He did the only way it could, or posting, as also required by Unilever itself through the Association of Industrialists, a clear and unequivocal statement about its intention to make the procedures for redundancy fund in derogation from, as stated, from January 1, 2009. "
