Per questo faccio volontariato! Dopo detto questo dovrei aver finito ma invece mi rattristo, mi stupisco e mi indigno quando vedo e sento che per alcuni il Volontariato è motivo di distinzione, di valutazione meramente burocratica sulla attività e altre interferenze che nulla hanno a che vedere con il rapporto tra Volontariato e persone malate o in difficoltà bisognose di aiuto. Ne parlo proprio perché in questo mese di ottobre ho constatato che questo antico vezzo non è tramontato. Nella mia , ormai poliennale esperienza, ho sentito "purtroppo" anche persone che falsamente denigrano o sono in permanente conflitto con altre associazioni dello stesso settore, millantano una esclusiva di rappresentanza o competenza che nessuno ha loro assegnato . A malincuore devo dire che questa triste deformazione ha trovato e trova ancora supporters, di appartenenza politica e sanitaria, che aumentano il disagio per il libero svolgimento dell'attività di altri volontari. Nulla si fa per dirimere eventuali divergenze. A volte basterebbe consultare il Registro Regionale del Volontariato per stabilire la legittima esistenza di una Associazione e zittire il mestatore . Alcuni credono acriticamente solo a chi si conosce ; in altri casi chi, sopra le parti, potrebbe farlo, non interviene - per non avere fastidi - anche quando ne avrebbe l'autorità o è in possesso di elementi probanti e utili a far sì che si ristabilisca il rispetto per ogni attività e per ogni persona. A onor del vero devo dire che negli ultimi mesi il comportamento di nuovi dirigenti, diciamo " addetti ai lavori", fa positivamente intravedere una nuova luce all'orizzonte. Contrariamente a quanto avviene in realtà operative di altri comparti - in alcune sedi - si nota quasi un timore che il volontario appanni le figure professionali dedicate e, pertanto, si tende a non chiedere la collaborazione complementare che, come nel mio caso, l'associazione tramite il volontario può dare. Il volontariato diventa, però, importante per talune persone, quando può fornire una tribuna a qualcuno che quindi può "apparire" più di un altro.
